If you have an Alexa or Google Assistant-enabled device, it’s easy to sync your lights with your voice assistant. First, you’ll have to add the Roku Smart Home skill in the Alexa or Google Home app. Once the app finds your light strip, you’ll be able to use your smart speaker to control it. Some examples of commands would be, “Hey Alexa/Google, turn on living room light strip,” or, “Hey Alexa/Google, turn bedroom light strip to blue.”
If you have a Roku device, you can also control your light strips with Roku Voice using either your Roku voice remote or the Roku app.

We initially got this to go around our tv (which was amazing added tv viewing pleasure) but decided to also get one for the kids bedroom so they didn't have to sleep with the closet light on.. they are OBSESSED! It is plenty of length to wrap around the bottom of their bed and we control it with our phones (can even be controlled with just your voice) and can turn it off when they fall asleep. They love it so much and it really is cool, all their friends think it is the coolest light strip!
