Security keypads, like Roku keypad, allow you and those in your household to arm or disarm your home alarm system or switch modes (like from “home” to “away” mode) by entering a unique PIN. Your keypad also has a manual panic button that allows you to sound the alarm even when your home is disarmed. If your keypad isn’t nearby, you can perform these same actions in the Roku Smart Home mobile app.

Once your Roku Home Monitoring System SE is set up, your sensors can still trigger an alarm without Wi-Fi®—however, without Wi-Fi®, you won’t get notifications to your phone when a sensor is triggered, or when an alarm goes off. You’ll be able to arm, disarm, or switch modes with the keypad, but you won’t be able to control your system in the Roku Smart Home mobile app. If you have professional monitoring, you’ll want to make sure you have consistent internet connection with either Wi-Fi® or Ethernet to access emergency services.

You can have as many as you want! With Roku add-on keypads, you can place a keypad by the front door, back door, garage door, or even in a living room or bedroom to quickly and conveniently arm or disarm your system. Mount on the wall, put in a drawer, or keep tabletop for easy access. Your PIN will be the same for all keypads in your home.
