Roku Streaming Stick Plus (4K) is our new (2025) 4K streaming device. Roku Express 4K+ is no longer available for purchase. Roku Streaming Stick Plus (4K) is the updated comparable choice.

Is there a difference between HDR streaming and 4K streaming?
Short answer: Yes. 4K refers to resolution (more pixels for sharper detail), while HDR refers to picture range (brighter highlights, deeper shadows, and wider color). Many 4K devices also support HDR, including Roku Streaming Stick Plus (4K).
Long answer: 4K has four times the resolution of HD (3840×2160), delivering sharper, more detailed video. This player is best paired with a 4K TV. HDR streaming refers to High Dynamic Range, improving contrast, brightness, and color for more lifelike images. Works on HDR‑capable TVs.
To see 4K and/or HDR, you need compatible content and a compatible TV. If your TV is HD only, consider an HD Streaming Stick.
What remote comes with the Roku Streaming Stick Plus (4K)?

Connect your headphones in the Settings menu:
- Press Home on your Roku remote
- Scroll and select Settings
- Select Remotes & devices
- Select Wireless headphones
- Select your headphones
- Select Connect
If you are already playing content and need to connect headphones, use these instructions instead:
