⭐ Roku Streaming Stick – My Honest Review
I’ve been using the Roku Streaming Stick with my LG TV, and overall it delivers very good performance, but there are a few things people should know about how it behaves depending on the TV.The stick’s operation depends heavily on the TV’s USB power cycle. Since it’s powered through the TV’s USB port, it turns off completely when the TV is off and reboots every time the TV turns back on. Because of that, the Roku home screen doesn’t always appear instantly when I power up the TV — sometimes it shows right away, and sometimes I need to wait a moment or manually select the HDMI input. This seems to vary by TV model and how the USB port handles power.
Once it’s running, though, the streaming quality is excellent. Video is clear, smooth, and noticeably better than many built‑in TV apps. Another nice feature is that the Roku Stick can turn on the TV automatically when casting from a phone or laptop, which is convenient.
If your TV’s USB port provides consistent power, the experience will be smoother. But even with the occasional delay on startup, the stick delivers strong performance and high‑quality streaming once it’s up and running.

We have 3 Roku now, 2 Roku sticks and a 65" Roku LED TV. Everything is working great with know issues. Roku was recommending to me by the Spectrum cable technician when I bought the first one 5 years ago. They have all been very reliable. I'm very happy with Roku's operations and performance.

Still the one
This is my 7th Roku device. Installation is quick. Connection to my WiFi went without any issues. The interface is easy to navigate. I use Roku despite the fact that my TV’s are all smart TV’s. They continue to add channels to their “station”. The only negative I can point to is the batteries in the remote need to be changed too often.

We use Roku at our house. Before Roku we had a fire stick but we like the Roku better. We ha e a Roku TV too. Having all TVs on the sane system makes it easy to be logged in. I appreciate there is live TV on it too. Don't watch it often but I has come in handy
