The actual streaming stick itself is great. A lot of apps are broadcasting in 4K, especially YouTube videos. This stick is easy to install, just plug in to an existing HDMI port on your TV and connect the stick's USB power port to your TV's USB port (if it has one, mine does) with the supplied USB cable and there you go. However, this is why I gave this stick only 2 stars. The remote *LOVES* batteries!!! I bought this back in May 2025 and so far I've had to replace the batteries in the remove FOUR TIMES!! It's on the fourth set right now. And I don't even use the voice feature to open any apps. In fact I have that disabled. And it *STILL* eats batteries. I have three Roku Express devices (Master Bedroom, Office and Hobby Room) and those remotes don't even come close to eating batteries like this remote does. Heck I don't even remember the last time I changed those batteries. Unless Roku does something to improve the battery life in the Streaming Stick 4K's remove, I really cannot in good conscious recommend this to anyone.

Finally, I can watch all my favorite movie on my non smart TV! Awesome! It was really easy to set up! Thanks Roku!

Ive been going through roku for some time and stand by it. Ive even bought rokus for people and suggested to a lot to get it. Well if you do not stop advertising this pedaphile wicked movie then ill will no longer stand by you and your sale out to such filth like wicked

Purchased over the summer. Worked well at first. Then it started to freeze up or wouldn't connect to the internet. I contacted Roku. They tried multiple things. Didn't work. Said it was an issue with the programming. Sent me a replacement. It's not working either.

I have two stick and three boxes all the remotes buttons breack down all of them they're very crappie that's so you can buy the very expensive substitute remotes

Miserable experience usually I use YouTube I have at every 3 to 4 minutes and sometimes 55 second ads every 3 to 4 minutes barely you can watch something so miserable

I have 4 tv's with Roku streaming devices. 3 work fine however the 4K streamer on the smart tv which is the closest the router freezes and buffers often. the router is only in next room with open wall. I even increased with my speed with spectrum to the maximum still no change

Bought the Streaming Stick 4K and it seems to work good. Came with one remote that seems to work okay but sometimes won't respond. Bought an extra voice remote so my wide could have her own and the extra one sucks. Most of the time it doesn't except for the TV controls. Have removed the batteries as described in help and some times it starts working but not for long and other times not working at all. When I do get it to work it won't stay working for more than a few clicks. Have excellent WiFi connection and the stick along with the original remote continues to work. Nothing in troubleshooting has solved my problem. Now I have an extra remote that sits on mu end table and does nothing but collects dust. Very disappointed and over the 30 day period. Would give a 0 rating if I could. Been using Roku for many years and no problems other than this. May try Firestiick and see if that works better.
