The best TV show couples
Happy Valentine’s Day!
Even though these aren’t couples in life (well, one couple is!), they make us all believe in awesome, cheesy, TV love. Big thanks to our followers on Twitter for the help – narrowing this down to ten couples was no simple feat.
Agree or disagree with anyone on the list? Let us know in the comments.
Lucy & Ricky (I Love Lucy)
A married couple in real life, we all felt like we got a secret glimpse into their marriage through the TV. Despite the constant trouble and all the ‘splainin Lucy had to do, their friendship and devotion had us all envious. I Love Lucy is available on Amazon Instant Video, Hulu Plus and VUDU.
Drogo & Daenerys (Game of Thrones)
Yeah, their marriage was arranged and Drogo was scary at first, but she turned him into a big ol’ softie! “You are the moon of my life. That is all I know and all I need to know.” – Drogo
Game of Thrones is available on HBO GO.
Kevin & Winnie (The Wonder Years)
Their relationship perfectly illustrated everyone’s first crush with the awkward moments, the butterflies and what seems like the end of the world heartbreak. We’ll forever be rooting for a Kevin and Winnie reunion. The Wonder Years is available on Netflix.
Jim & Pam (The Office)
Who doesn’t love a good old office romance? Jim and Pam’s instant connection and adorable flirting made us squeal. And the engagement episode!? Cute overload. The Office is available on Amazon Instant Video, M-GO and VUDU.
George & Louise (The Jeffersons)
There was never a dull moment in the “deluxe apartment in the sky.” George and his big mouth were kept in check by his Weezie’s loving bossiness and their magnetic relationship made The Jeffersons the most-successful spinoff series to All in the Family (and there were a lot of ’em!). The Jeffersons is available on Amazon Instant Video.
Eric & Tami (Friday Night Lights)
There’s no couple on TV that made us more jealous than the Taylors. They balanced kids, work and what seemed like the entire population of Dillion that needed their help but never lost sight of their love for one another. Clear eyes, full hearts, can’t lose. Friday Night Lights is available on Amazon Instant Video, Netflix and VUDU.
Monica & Chandler (Friends)
Quite the controversial pick because most will say Ross and Rachel. But come on, they broke up a bunch of times. Monica and Chandler got together and stayed together. Also, bonus points for Monica’s adorable proposal attempt. Friends is available on Amazon Instant Video, Netflix and VUDU.
