Stream Vuelta a España and more cycling events on the Roku platform

As an avid streamer and cycling fan, I’m thrilled with the addition of NBC Sports Gold to the Roku Channel Store. It delivers the world’s best cycling content live and on demand – including the Vuelta a España, which kicks off this Saturday. I’ll be cheering on Team Sky and hoping Chris Froome can accomplish a rare Grand Tour double win, following his fantastic victory in the Tour de France last month. It’s easy to watch or re-watch your favorite Tour stages on demand now via NBC Sports Gold.NBC Sports Gold Vuelta a Espana on Roku

This year’s Vuelta takes 198 riders from Galicia to the finish in Madrid, with the majority of the race taking place in northern Spain, including plenty of exciting mountain stages in the Pyrenees. The three-week grand tour will be decided over 3,315 kilometers divided into 21 stages. The race has a tough profile with 10 of 21 stages being summit finishes and a total of 51 climbs. Alberto Contador (Tinkoff), Nairo Quintana (Movistar), Esteban Chaves (Orica-Bike Exchange), Steven Kruijswijk (LottoNL-Jumbo) and American rider Tejay van Garderen (BMC) will challenge Chris Froome for the iconic red leader’s jersey.

Each stage will be live streamed and is available to watch anytime on demand on the NBC Sports Gold channel starting August 20. NBC Sports Gold offers access to 15 races including the Tour de France, Paris Nice, Paris Roubaix and more for $19.99 per year – available now on Roku players and Roku TV models in the U.S.

Happy cycling and happy streaming!
