See your home in a whole new way with Roku Smart Home
Today, we’re giving a first look at two upcoming additions to the Roku Smart Home family that help you keep an eye on everything. These cameras are simple yet powerful and have unique features and integrations for Roku device and Roku TV owners.
Built to withstand the elements, these weather-resistant Roku cameras are perfect for any outdoor or indoor space. Even better, they are battery-powered and don’t need to be plugged in. No cords, no mess—so you can place them just about anywhere.
Introducing: the Roku Battery Camera and Roku Battery Camera Plus.

A safer, smarter home
Roku Smart Home products are designed to make your home smarter, safer, and better connected. Whether you’re looking to automate your lighting, keep an eye on your new puppy, or simply enjoy the convenience of a connected home, Roku’s Smart Home products are made for you.
With these new cameras, there’s no handyman required. The setup process on your phone guides you through every step, and you can interact with live customer service if you need support. But we’re confident that you won’t—when we say it’s simple, we mean it.

The Roku Battery Camera and Roku Battery Camera Plus have long-lasting rechargeable batteries and the option to add a solar panel, so you’ll never have to think about when your battery is running low. Customers will get up to six months of battery life on a single charge with the Roku Battery Camera, or up to two years with the Roku Battery Camera Plus*.
You’ll be able to spot details from any vantage point with 1080p HD full-color picture, whether it’s the middle of the night or a glaringly sunny day. Plus, you can capture accurate colors and low-light details with color night vision.
Remote monitoring via the Roku Smart Home Mobile App or Roku Web View allows you to check in on your camera from anywhere, at any time. You can customize settings, create schedules, and receive instant notifications, putting control at your fingertips. Motion detection and notifications simplify the whole process, whether you’re looking out for the mail or the bird on your windowsill.
Stay even more connected
If you are one of the many U.S. households that already use Roku for streaming, we have good news. You can interact with your Roku Smart Home devices with your Roku TV or player.
Our smart home devices seamlessly integrate with the Roku ecosystem. You can easily view your camera feeds directly from your TV, so you can keep an eye on your home and never have to move from your spot on the couch.
With the Roku Cameras app for TV, the Camera Carousel automatically cycles through your camera feeds periodically or based on motion events. If you’re watching a show or movie, you can get notifications from your camera––like your dog chasing a squirrel in the backyard. And if you need to keep a closer eye on things, Picture-in-Picture allows you to pin your camera feed to the screen, so you can keep an eye on the game and your front door all at once.
