Sky launches Roku Powered NOW TV Smart Box with 4K & Voice Search in the UK

Today Sky UK launched its most powerful streaming device ever – the NOW TV Smart Box with 4K & Voice Search. Available from September 26th, the Roku Powered NOW TV Smart Box offers NOW TV users 4K Ultra HD streaming at up to 60fps, with HDR delivering true to life colours and outstanding clarity.

Sky also announced the availability of Netflix across all NOW TV devices. With a NOW TV Smart Box consumers can now enjoy a night in watching Orange is the New Black or Glow in glorious 4K. The NOW TV Smart Box with 4K & Voice Search is priced at £45.99 and is available from nowtv.com. It will also be available bundled with a month’s Entertainment, Sky Cinema, Kids and Sky Sports Day Pass for just £49.99 from major retailers including Argos and Currys PCWorld.

Sky was the first Roku Powered™ operator to license the Roku streaming platform and launched its first NOW TV box back in 2013. After launching the first generation NOW TV box it quickly became the most popular way for consumers to access the NOW TV streaming service.
