Set in present-day Washington, DC, the political drama stars Kevin Spacey as a Democrat party congressman and House Majority Whip who, after being passed over for appointment as Secretary of State, initiates an elaborate plan to get himself into a position of greater power, aided by his wife, Claire. Poldark

This popular BBC series has just confirmed it will be returning for a second season next year. The drama, set in the 18^th century, follows the life of Poldark, a British Army officer who has just returned from the American War of Independence to his beloved Cornwall.
