Roku OS 11.5 includes Featured Free to make your streaming experience better

We think we’re pretty awesome – but that doesn’t mean we can’t get better. Roku OS 11.5 is officially here, with exciting updates that will make your streaming experience more magical than ever.

We’re keeping free content front and centre, with Featured Free, an improved experience for discovering free streaming content that lives in your Home Screen! Content from our local and global partners will be showcased all in one place – so no matter what you’re into, you can find it FREE, and in a snap.

What Else Is New?

•  If the “to watch” list on your phone is getting a little too long, we’ve got the answer – now you can save movies and TV shows from across the Roku platform to create a list of content to watch later using the Save List! Select the “save” option on the title’s details page on your home screen, and view or manage your list from anywhere with the Roku mobile app.
• The battle for volume control is officially over – Roku Ultra users can now pair their Bluetooth® wireless headphones directly to their Roku device for private listening!
• New visual tools make it easier than ever to find exactly what you’re looking for when searching with Roku Voice. Multiple results? No problem – a display on the bottom of the screen will show the relevant options, so you can choose your intended channel.
• For those of you in French Canada, Roku has added French voice search and control options. Set your device language preferences to French and use any Roku voice remote or your new Roku Ultra  to issue your commands.
