Roku Original comedy “The Now,” created by Farrelly Brothers, starring Dave Franco, debuts on The Roku Channel

Hi Streamers! The Roku Channel is bringing you an all-new original comedy, featuring a top-notch cast and crew. We’re excited to introduce you to “The Now,” which was written and directed by none other than Academy Award winners Peter Farrelly and Bobby Farrelly.  

In our busy everyday lives, we could all use a reminder to live in the present, and “The Now” does just that by examining what exactly makes life worth living. Dave Franco leads this darkly funny series as Ed Poole. For Ed, life isn’t going as he planned. However, a tragic event causes him to rethink his outlook, forcing him to go after what he loves, cherish the people closest to him and live in The Now.  

The phenomenal cast also includes O’Shea Jackson Jr, Jimmy Tatro, and Daryl Hannah in starring roles, plus Bill Murray, Alyssa Milano, Pete Davidson, Rob Yang, appearing in recurring roles.  The series was written by Peter and Bobby Farrelly, Steve Leff and Pete Jones. Steve Golin and Jeff Okin served as executive producers.  It was produced by Anonymous Content.
