Hi Streamers! The Roku Channel is thrilled to announce the production of an all-new original scripted comedy series “SLIP,” created and written by the one and only Zoe Lister-Jones. Not only is Lister-Jones the mastermind behind the seven-episode series, but she directs and stars in every single episode!

“SLIP” tells the story of 30-something Mae Cannon, played by Lister-Jones, as she navigates her life through a restless marriage that seemingly works. The series follows Mae through parallel universes as she enters new relationships in an attempt to find her way back to her partner and eventually herself.

We couldn’t be more excited to work with the incredible teams at Boat Rocker and Teatime Pictures to bring this series to life. “SLIP” will also be TeaTime Pictures’, founded by Dakota Johnson and Ro Donnelly, with Katie O’Connell joining as partner as of January 2022, first TV series to go into production.  Johnson, Donnelly and O’Connell will serve as Executive Producers for TeaTime. Ivan Schneeberg and David Fortier, alongside Nick Nantell, executive producer for Boat Rocker.

Keep your eyes open for the release date of this hilarious female-led comedy! The series will be exclusively available on The Roku Channel in the U.S. and Canada. In the meantime, check out the many great originals already available on The Roku Channel.
