Roku’s first-ever original adult animated series “Doomlands” hits The Roku Channel on January 28

Hi Streamers! If you love hilarious animated series as much as I do, then you will also be obsessed with our latest Roku Original “Doomlands.” “Doomlands” looks at the life of the infamous Danny Doom and aspiring bartender, Lhandi, as they sling beers across a hellish wasteland in their mobile pub: The Oasis. Facing ruthless desert gangs, memory-stealing creeps, and even mean bathroom graffiti, all this crew’s got to do to survive is not kill each other.

Roku Original Doomlands

“Doomlands” is the brainchild of Josh O’Keefe and actually began as a university project back in 2014. The short film ultimately came to fruition via a crowd-funded campaign. I was sent the short and heard a series pitch when executive producer Josh Bowen signed on and flew Josh O’Keefe all the way from Australia to pitch the show. It was undeniably funny and I knew they were onto something.

“Doomlands” premieres on January 28 exclusively on The Roku Channel.

Happy Streaming!
