New Releases and Recommendations for Sept. 23
What did the fish say when he ran into the wall? Dam! OK, if that didn’t bring a smile to your face, maybe these new releases will…sheesh, tough crowd. As always, if you have a suggestion on the perfect lazy Sunday flick, please post ’em in the comments.



Netflix New Releases:
- Howl’s Moving Castle– Easily my favorite Miyazaki anime. Based on a children’s novel, it’s packed with magic spells, wizards and witches (2004)
- Troll Hunter– A huge hit at Sundance, this Blair Witch style mockumentary follows the story of a troll hunter in the Norwegian woods (2010)
- Goldfinger– The third Bond film and arguably one of the best. Fort Knox, Odd-job, and of course, Pussy Galore — what more could you ask for? (1964)
Hulu Plus New Releases:
- Grey’s Anatomy– ABC’s much-loved medical drama continues in it’s eighth season (2011)
- Dancing With The Stars– Catch the exciting moments from the contestants’ first performances and training (2011)
- The Man from Nowhere– A quiet shop keeper with a past takes on a drug and organ trafficking ring in hope of saving the child who is his only friend (2010)
Crackle New Releases:
- In The Line Of Fire– Clint Eastwood is at his steely best as he battles a brilliantly maniacal John Malkovich in an ultra-tense thriller (1993)
- Homeland– From teen angst to autism, Claire Danes now tackles the paranoia of national security (2011)
- I-Spy– Owen Wilson helps Eddie Murphy rediscover the funny in an action-comedy stoked by the great chemistry of its two stars (2002)
Amazon Instant Video New Releases:
- Bridesmaids– From Judd Aptow, Bridesmaids takes Maid of Dishonor and four wild bridesmaids on an outrageous ride to their friend’s wedding (2011)
- Set Up– A group of friends plan out a detailed heist that turns deadly when one betrays the other by taking off with the goods (2011)
- Wishful Drinking– Hollywood icon Carrie Fisher tells her raw and intoxicating true story in this documentary based on her hit stage production (2011)
