New Releases and Recommendations for June 1

- Dead Space: Aftermath– This epic animated feature centers on the survivors of the O’Bannon, which has lost contact with Earth in the year 2509 (2011)
- The Killer Inside Me– Casey Affleck stars as a seemingly mild-mannered West Texas Deputy Sheriff with a “sickness” that turns him into a brutal, psychotic killer (2010)
- Lost in Translation– Scarlett Johansson and Bill Murray are lonely strangers who find unexpected solace in each other’s company while visiting Tokyo (2003)

- Hardwired– Cuba Gooding Jr. and Val Kilmer elevate a clever and slyly humorous Blade Runner-esque techno-thriller (2009)
- Panic Room– Jodie Foster and Kristen Stewart share the familial terror in David Fincher’s perfectly paced claustrophobic thrill-ride (2002)
- Balls Out: Gary the Tennis Coach– Sean William Scott volleys raunchy humor in an underdog spoof that does for tennis what Kingpin did for bowling (2009)

- Restrepo– A gritty, feature-length documentary following the deployment of a platoon of U.S. soldiers in Afghanistan’s Korengal Valley (2010)
- Tommy Boy– Chris Farley is unforgettable as Tommy Callahan, a rich party boy who makes David Spade miserable on a hilarious business road trip (1995)
- Planes, Trains and Automobiles– Steve Martin and John Candy deliver pure comedy gold on an impressive number of moving vehicles (1987)
