Mother’s Day is right around the corner, and what better way to show mom you care than curling up on the couch next to her and streaming some good content. We’ve rounded up some of our favourite films and series that mom will love.

Baby Boom (The Roku Channel)
A 1987 comedy film about successful New York businesswoman, J.C Wiatt (Diane Keaton) getting her life thrown upside down after inheriting a baby from a distant relative. This film follows her journey to new motherhood and her hardships in balancing her personal and professional life.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (hayu)
A reality television series following the lavish lives of some of the richest housewives in Beverly Hills. These women come to realize that more money really does come with more problems – in all facets of life.

Workin’ Moms (Netflix)
A Canadian sitcom following the lives of four Toronto mothers and their struggles to balance their careers, love lives, and family life. This series takes you on a journey to discover the highs and lows of parenthood, in realistic and relatable circumstances.

Brave (Disney+)
An animated film about bravery and mother-daughter relationships, this film tells the story of Scottish royalty, Princess Merida, and her journey in breaking boundaries and carving her own path to become an archer. By defying her mother’s wishes, she is put in a situation where she needs to rely on her own bravery to reverse a spell on her family.
