Hi everyone! We recently announced live news will soon be part of The Roku Channel. We’re happy to announce that the live news row is now available on all current generation Roku devices.
For those of you who missed it, live news is a new feature within The Roku Channel that offers live and linear news content from ABC News, Cheddar, People TV and more. We’re excited to be able to bring all of you streamers one of your top requested features. Here’s what you can expect from our news partners.
- ABC News Live: A new 24/7 live and linear news stream from ABC News that gives you access to breaking news and live event coverage from all over the world. ABC News Live utilizes the worldwide resources of ABC News and their people in the field to deliver news in a modern package and take you live, on location to show – not tell you – what’s happening in the world.
- Cheddar: Cheddar on The Roku Channel is a linear news offering featuring a selection of live and curated content from the network, which offers a unique approach to news in technology, media, and entertainment.
- PeopleTV: PeopleTV is the ad-supported streaming network helmed by PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly. You will have unlimited, daily access to quality programming featuring original series and specials, which encompass celebrity, pop culture, lifestyle and human-interest genres.
