Launching Roku TV Ready in Canada

Today we announced the arrival of the Roku TV Ready™ licensing program in Canada. Roku TV Ready is a certification program that allows consumer electronics brands to partner with Roku to make their products work seamlessly with Roku TV™ models and deliver an incredible home entertainment experience. The first brands that will be launching Roku TV Ready devices in Canada are TCL, Denon and Definitive Technology.

Through ease of set up and a more integrated experience with Roku TV models’, the Roku TV Ready program is designed to give consumers confidence when adding audio devices to their TV set-up. Roku TV models will automatically identify products that has been tested and certified to be Roku TV Ready and provide a simple setup and easy access to on-screen volume and sound settings controlled by the single Roku TV remote control.

The following Roku TV Ready devices will soon be available in Canada:

TCL Alto 6 & Alto 6 + Soundbars

• The Alto 6 & Alto 6+ soundbars bring powerful cinema-like audio with Dolby Digital decoding to create room-filling virtual surround sound, while the wireless subwoofer makes music and movies come to life with powerful bass.
• These soundbars are ideal for TVs between 40 and 55-inches and for those looking to enhance their current audio system without splurging on costly, cumbersome solutions.

Denon Home Sound bar 550

• The Denon Home Soundbar 550 is a high-performance, compact sound bar that offers Dolby Atmos and DTS:X 3D surround sound decoding capabilities to make movies, TV and music sound dynamic and huge.
• Listeners can stream high-resolution music from their favorite music services or local music libraries directly to the sound bar leveraging Denon’s streaming technology, HEOS Built-in.

Definitive Technology Studio 3D Mini:

• The Studio 3D Mini Sound Bar System is designed to provide music and movie enthusiasts with a high-performance entertainment experience from an ultra-compact sound bar.
• The Sound Bar boasts premium-grade components and Dolby Atmos and DTS:X signal processing for a giant sound stage that rivals sound bars twice its size.
