Get more from your cable subscription with “TV Anywhere Channels”

Roku features dozens of cable channels On Demand by using your cable provider credentials – this is sometimes referred to as “TV Everywhere” or “TV Anywhere.”  For example, HBO Go and SHOWTIME ANYTIME give cable subscribers unlimited access to their entire TV series catalog, movies and more. WatchESPN delivers 24/7 live programming from your favorite ESPN networks and the A&E channel brings all your favorite TV shows, from Duck Dynasty and Wahlburgers to Bates Motel and Bad Ink.  With your Roku device, you can access your cable package from any room in your house without an extra cable box.

Roku’s full list of television/cable-authenticated channels include A&E, Epix (14-day free trial, no credit card required!), FOX NOW, HBO Go, HISTORY, Lifetime, SHOWTIME ANYTIME, Watch Disney Channel, Watch Disney Junior, and WatchESPN* – all available at no extra charge. Find out if your cable TV provider supports these channels here.

Time Warner Cable customers are REALLY in luck. Time Warner Cable offers a special channel on Roku player and Roku TV that lets their customers access both On Demand content and a full live TV stream – just like through a traditional set top box. You can add the Time Warner Channel on Roku players and Roku TV, login, and be watching live TV in minutes.

Not a cable subscriber? You should still check out A&E, FOX NOW, HISTORY and Lifetime, as they always have free unlocked episodes available to stream.

We continue working hard to expand TV Anywhere channels on Roku over time. If there are any channels you’d love to see on Roku, please don’t hesitate to let us know!

Games of Thrones marathon, anyone?
