What’s happening?

Many of you may already know Frndly TV. That’s because many of the service’s customers are ours, too. Acquiring Frndly TV is part of our ongoing commitment to enhance the Roku Experience by delivering quality content Roku viewers love at an affordable price, which Frndly TV is known for. We’re excited to make Frndly TV even more accessible to the more than half of broadband households that we serve in the U.S.

Why Frndly TV?

Since 2019, Frndly TV has offered U.S. viewers the opportunity to stream premium channels for a wide variety of interests with affordable, flexible subscription options. They have an impressive user interface that allows for easy access to content on smartphones, TVs, tablets, and computers. Frndly TV’s affordable pricing and diverse programming make for an exciting option for customers to supplement their Roku experience.

What’s next?

Now that we’ve announced our plans to acquire Frndly TV, the next step is to close the deal, which we expect will occur later this quarter, subject to customary closing conditions.

After closing, Frndly TV and Roku customers won’t see any immediate changes. Roku customers interested in subscribing to Frndly TV plans, which start at $6.99, can download Frndly TV simply by visiting the Roku Channel Store on their favorite Roku device.
