What are you watching this week on The Roku Channel? Let us know in the comments below!

Mission: Impossible III (2006)

Agent Ethan Hunt comes into conflict with a dangerous and sadistic arms dealer who threatens his life and his fianceé in response.

Why it made our list: Tom Cruise superfan or not, you’ve got to respect the fact that he did the majority of his own stunts in this film – and escaped with just a couple of cracked ribs.

Big Jake (1971)

In 1909, when John Fain’s gang kidnaps Big Jake McCandles’ grandson and holds him for ransom, Big Jake sets out to rescue the boy.

Why it made our list: Who doesn’t enjoy an old Western shoot-em-up with the one and only Duke? Big Jake marked the last time that John Wayne sat in the number one spot at the U.S. box office.

The Peacemaker (1997)

A US Army colonel and a civilian woman supervising him must track down stolen Russian nuclear weapons before they’re used by terrorists.

Why it made our list: In the first film released by DreamWorks Pictures, George Clooney and Nicole Kidman star in an action-packed thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the closing credits.

Léon: The Professional (1994)

Mathilda, a 12-year-old girl, is reluctantly taken in by Léon, a professional assassin, after her family is murdered. Léon and Mathilda form an unusual relationship, as she becomes his protégé and learns the assassin’s trade.

Why it made our list: Natalie Portman delivers a standout performance as Mathilda in her feature film debut – she was just 11 years old when she was cast for the film.

Mad Money (2008)

Three female employees of the Federal Reserve plot to steal money that is about to be destroyed.

Why it made our list: Diane Keaton, Queen Latifah, and Katie Holmes come together to form an unlikely (but fun) crime syndicate – and the result is just flat out fun to watch.

Happy streaming!
