Every week, we put together a list of free movies to watch on The Roku Channel. This week’s films pack some major star power, featuring a young Leonardo DiCaprio, Sandra Bullock, Steve Martin, and a movie that some have called Arnold’s best ever.

 The Beach (2000): Vicenarian Richard travels to Thailand and finds himself in possession of a strange map. Rumors state that it leads to a solitary beach paradise, a tropical bliss. Excited and intrigued, he sets out to find it. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Daniel York.

Why it made our list: The Beach has it all – Young Leo, a suspenseful storyline, and breathtaking cinematography.

 Total Recall (1990): When a man goes for virtual vacation memories of the planet Mars, an unexpected and harrowing series of events forces him to go to the planet for real – or does he? Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sharon Stone.

Why it made our list: Non-stop action? Check. Visually pleasing? Check. Arnold in his prime? Check!

 A Mighty Heart (2007): Mariane Pearl embarks on a frantic search to locate her journalist husband, Daniel, when he goes missing in Pakistan. Starring Angelina Jolie and Dan Futterman.

Why it made our list: Jolie’s performance is nothing short of extraordinary in this moving film based on a true story.

 The Net (1995): A computer programmer stumbles upon a conspiracy, putting her life and the lives of those around her in great danger. Starring Sandra Bullock and Jeremy Northam.

Why it made our list: Sandra Bullock is as likable as ever in this underrated internet conspiracy thriller.

 Nutcracker (1993): On Christmas Eve, a little girl named Marie falls asleep after a party at her home and dreams herself into a fantastic world where toys become larger than life. Starring Jessica Lynn Cohen and Macaulay Culkin.

Why it made our list: The magic of imagination takes flight in Macaulay Culkin’s performance with the New York City Ballet.

 Angel in the House (2011): Looking to adopt a child and unable to conceive a child of their own, the Morrison’s lives are turned upside down when a 7 year old boy unexpectedly shows up on their doorstep. Starring Toni Collette and Ioan Gruffudd.

Why it made our list: It’s a simple, wholesome movie that everyone in the family can enjoy. Warning: Happy tears may flow by the end of this one.

 Mixed Nuts (1994): The events focus around a crisis hotline business on one crazy night during the Christmas holidays. Starring Steve Martin and Madeline Kahn.

Why it made our list: The comedic duo of Martin and Kahn are sure to bring a smile to your face in this Christmas classic.

 Noel (2004): Five New Yorkers come together on Christmas Eve seeking a miracle. Starring Paul Walker, Penelope Cruz, and Susan Sarandon.

Why it made our list: Fun fact: this underrated Christmas flick has an uncredited appearance by the late, great Robin Williams.
