FOX NOW: Available for DirecTV customers today

Now that the holidays are over, I’m back in my routine and most importantly, my weekly streaming routine. American Idol, Gotham and Brooklyn Nine-Nine are a few TV shows I’m getting into – and it’s easy to stream the new episodes on demand through the FOX NOW channel on my Roku player.

FOX NOW has been very popular among Roku customers to catch up on the latest shows the day after they air, such as the highly-rated new series, Empire and fan-favorite, Mulaney. Today I’m happy to report that DirecTV has been added to the list of participating television providers that support the FOX NOW channel on your Roku players and Roku TV.

So how do you add FOX NOW on your Roku player or Roku TV if you’re a DirecTV subscriber? If you don’t have the FOX NOW channel installed, you can find it in the Channel Store in the “Movies and TV” category.

  • To activate, start up the channel, click the options button (*) and choose “Sign in with TV provider.” Next, visit com/activate and enter your activation code – enter the code you see on your TV screen. Next, choose your provider from the list, DirecTV in this case. Enter your provider’s ID and password. After you successfully log in you’ll see the following message: “Congratulations, your device is activated! Return to FOX NOW on your Roku – the app will refresh automatically.”

In addition to DirecTV, customers who subscribe to FOX through the following providers can also access the FOX NOW channel on their Roku device.
