The Cutting Edge (1992): A temperamental figure skater and a former hockey player try to win Olympic gold as a figure skating pairs team. Starring D.B. Sweeney and Moira Kelly.

Why it made our list: “Toe pick!” It doesn’t get more delightful than this love story between a professional figure skater and a washed up hockey player.

Bewitched (2005): Thinking he can overshadow an unknown actress in the part, an egocentric actor unknowingly gets a witch cast in an upcoming television remake of the classic sitcom Bewitched. Starring Nicole Kidman and Will Ferrell.

Why it made our list: Nicole Kidman delivers the charm, while Will Ferrell delivers the laughs in this rom-com remake of the popular 1960s sitcom.

School of Rock (2003): After being kicked out of a rock band, Dewey Finn becomes a substitute teacher of a strict elementary private school, only to try and turn it into a rock band. Starring Jack Black and Sarah Silverman.

Why it made our list: With a killer soundtrack and a leading cast of comedy heavy hitters (Silverman and Black), School of Rock gets an A+.

Angel in the House (2011): Looking to adopt a child and unable to conceive a child of their own, the Morrison’s lives are turned upside down when a 7 year old boy unexpectedly shows up on their doorstep. Starring Toni Collette and Ioan Gruffudd.

Why it made our list: It’s a simple, wholesome movie that the whole family can enjoy. Warning: Happy tears may flow by the end of this one.
