UK: Roku Search, Roku Feed and the new Roku 2 now available!

Starting today we’re rolling out a software update to all current generation Roku players. In this update we introduce features such as Roku Search and the Roku Feed that lets people search or follow entertainment they want to watch. Initially Netflix, Snagfilms and Popcornflix will be featured in Roku Search, over time more channels are expected to complement this list. As soon as your Roku player has updated you will see two new items in the left hand menu on the home screen: Search and My Feed.

There is also a new version of the free Roku Mobile App for Android and iOS available now with support for the new search and discovery features.  Learn more about these search and discovery features here.

For those who don’t have a Roku streaming player yet, don’t worry we have got you covered too! We recently introduced a new Roku 2 and it is available from today. The new Roku 2 matches the speed and performance of the Roku 3 and is the perfect streaming player for those who want to stream video and music without the new Roku 3 enhanced remote.
