Halloween movies that will make you wonder what goes bump in the night!

Today is Halloween, and we think it’s the perfect time to have a mid-week snuggle up to a scary (or a scarily funny) film. Grab a bag of popcorn, conjure up your favourite ghoul and check out one of our top picks and the channels to watch them on.

Dracula – Shudder
When solicitor Jonathan Harker is requested to visit Count Dracula in Transylvania to finalize a real estate purchase, he has no clue of the spookiness that is about to unfold. While there, he’s bewitched by a group of female vampires, and is lucky to escape the castle alive. Be sure to catch this Halloween classic!

The Addams Family – Amazon Prime Video
When a man who claims to be the missing brother of Gomez Addams arrives at the family home, everyone is ecstatic. However, when the man claiming to be Fester can’t remember earlier details of his life, suspicions arise. Catch this classic 90’s film and reminisce on the spooky Addams Family adventures.

Twilight – Netflix
One of the biggest films in 2008, Twilight is an adaption of the young adult book of the same name. The film stars Kirsten Stewart as high-schooler Bella Swan and Robert Pattinson as the 108-year old vampire Edward Cullen (although he doesn’t look a day over 17). Watch these two lovebirds go through the trials and tribulations of young(ish) love with plentiful helpings of Vampire and Werewolf action.

Scary Movie 2 – Netflix
What do you get if you stir up classic horror movie troupes and a dollop of tongue-in-cheek humour? Arguably the best film out of the Scary Movie film series, this film is guaranteed to make you spill your popcorn, not out of fear but sheer hilarity. The shining star has to be Regina Hall as Brenda Meeks – she has one-liners that you’ll be reciting until December.

Get Out- Google Play Movies & TV
One of the top movies of 2017! When a young African-American man visits his white girlfriend’s parents for the weekend, his simmering uneasiness about their reception of him eventually reaches a boiling point. Definitely a new Halloween classic to add to your streaming list.
