Roku Original Children Ruin Everything will debut on May 13, gets season 2 order
Hi Streamers! If you’re looking for a heartwarming, relatable and funny new comedy show to watch, you’ll have to check out our new Roku Original, “Children Ruin Everything,” available Friday, May 13th on The Roku Channel. Created by “Schitt’s Creek” alum Kurt Smeaton, and executive produced by Chuck Tatham (“Modern Family,” “Arrested Development,” “How I Met Your Mother”), multiple Canadian Screen Award-winner Mark Montefiore (“Letterkenny,” “Bad Blood”), “Children Ruin Everything” is the family comedy show we all could use right now. You won’t want to miss this series!

“Children Ruin Everything” follows Astrid (Meaghan Rath) and James (Aaron Abrams) as they live with the worst roommates ever: young children. Astrid and James struggle to find a balance between being ‘Mom and Dad’ to two kids and being who they were before offspring in this light-hearted comedy. “Children Ruin Everything” explores the hilarious and varied ways kids can tear down your life and, if you’re lucky, replace it with something you have to admit is pretty okay, too.
We can’t wait to bring this one-of-a-kind show to audiences very soon! Not only is The Roku Channel bringing you season one, but we’ll also be bringing the series back for supersized season two, with 16 half-hour episodes of hilarious chaos, at a later date.
Head over to The Roku Channel to stream “Children Ruin Everything” and the rest of our Roku Original lineup.
