Facebook

  • The Roku Channel is great with lots of variety. The Reelz channel is one of my top favorites! – Marianne W.
  • Pluto, Freevee, Tubi, and The Roku Channel are the free ones I watch the most. – Michael H.
  • I love watching The Bob Ross Channel. The Joy of Painting is a joy in my life. – Justin L.
  • Pluto TV. Great variety of on-demand and live tv channels. – Michael B.
  • Kanopy with my library card. – Jonathan S.
  • Viki for Korean and Chinese dramas. – Wendy J.

Twitter

  • Definitely @TheRokuChannel! Especially love all the free original content, like #ZoeysChristmas. – @lschin12
  • I love Pluto TV, Freevee & Vix! – @sheenamcrae
  • Tubi & Pluto. Even though I have Netflix, Hulu plus others I found myself on these a lot. – @hunter258
  • My fav is @ThisOldHouse. – @BobGrebe
  • The Roku Channel is my favorite free channel. With a great mix of shows and limited commercials, I find shows there that are either not available on main streaming channels or are high priced per episode. Minimal interruptions make watching the Roku Channel a great alternative. – @mikemt

Reddit

  • MST3K. People used to bootleg these episodes on VHS, and now they’re just here 24/7 like tap water. Love it. – mutan
  • FilmRise – Huge library of licensed content. They have multiple channel/app downloads which I’m honestly confused by. I think their main one has everything but I’m not positive. – diiejso
  • Hoopla – if your public library sponsors them. I get 15 free views/mo. No ads. – Bardamu1932
  • Adult Swim – Rick and Morty marathon, set a sleep timer, and fall asleep to it every night. Wubba lubba dub dub! – Daemon69
  • Freevee – Formerly IMDbTV, they have a large catalog of on demand content as well as producing their own original shows. Leverage Redemption, Sprung, and Timewasters are a few of their originals I’ve recently watched that rival the content produced on paid services. – diiejso
  • PBS. Great content and (other than some filler at the start of each episode) no commercials. You need to be a donor for some content, but much of the content is completely free. – MyCarsNameIsBernie
