Celebrating Asian and Pacific Islander voices on The Roku Channel

As part of our recognition of Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month in the U.S., and in partnership with Roku’s employee resource group – API x Roku, this month we are highlighting content and virtual programming focused on elevating the voices of the Asian & Pacific Islander community.

The Roku Channel is featuring a wide range of API programming available during the month of May via the Asian & Pacific Islander Voices tile.

Here are our some of our employees’ favorite titles:

  • The Joy Luck Club – Based on Amy Tan’s best seller about the relationships of a group of Chinese women with their Americanized daughters

  1. Turn on your Roku Device
  2. Select “The Roku Channel”
  3. Toggle to the “Featured” row section on The Roku Channel
  4. Use the right arrow on the remote to search for “Asian & Pacific Islander Voices”
