Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the a Stick! I'm a a Roku owner 4 times and I love the streaming stick as much as I love my Roku 3, Roku 2 XS and Roku 2XD. ITS GREAT and so far I have t had any lagging or buffering or problems with the remote. It's a great product and my tv's have both HDMI AND USB cable ports so it's perfect. Great product and less wires and space needed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice upgrade, still criminally slow Netflix start I'm upgrading from an old Roku XS, and it is indeed a better experience - improved UI etc. (disappointed that Roku don't upgrade older boxes' UIs). But the delay from TV on to watching something is *worse* - and it wasn't good before. The speed of getting to watch something when you turn on is a *painful* experience. I timed it - Netflix takes 35 seconds from selecting it to the point it asks me which profile to use, and then it's a further 10s to get to the point where you can select what to watch. There's no excuse for this - it's bad software design by Roku. It's nice to be able to stream YouTube, like with Chromecast, though it's more sluggish than Chromecast for that. It works nicely and the price is good, but it's disappointing performance in this day and age. I anticipate something better will be along in the next year or two, from Roku, Google, or others. The bar isn't all that high.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME PRODUCT! I already own a Roku 2 but our kids tended to monopolize it downstairs. I bought the streaming stick for our bedroom. It was fast and easy to setup. I only had to call support once when trying to figure out how to cast content from our iPad to the Roku. (husband likes to watch Premier league highlights). We used Zonk app. It's dodgy at times, but when it works it's great. As for the streaming stick, I will certainly recommend to family and friends, and might go ahead and purchase a few for Christmas gifts for others. THANKS ROKU!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First Roku Product This is a great streaming stick. Some of the negative reviews online stated that this version of roku was slow to load. I however don't feel that way at all. I have been really impressed with all the content. Well worth the $50 investment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from As advertised Did a bunch of research before buying, got it to stream MLB.TV so I don't have to shell out $60 each year for a XBox360 Live Gold Card. I don't mind that it takes time to boot up, I keep it plugged in (I knew it required power since I read that in the description of my review.) to a wall socket behind my TV so the cables don't show.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Its outstanding--BUT This is my third Roku. { I gave one to my Son in Law when I purchased my newest one]. I really like the STICK, BUT there IS NO WAY TO REGISTER IT ON AMAZON. I have tried re-installing the Amazon Prime, but their NO Roku Streaming Stick on Amazon's WEB site when I have the other devices registered...It would NOT register for the site so I can get FREE MOVIES..Please ROKU get that fixed

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My first Roku... My first Roku...Features are exactly what I wanted for my use (mostly Netflix). as mentioned in other reviews, the stick is TOO LONG to fit my TV, but I was able to find a HDMI swivel extension that solved that problem. (There are several right angle extensions available also that probably would work) Stick was quick and easy to set up, no problems at all! (And I am 70 years old!)
